AAMS Research Subcommittee at AMTC

The Research subcommittee is looking for individuals that
are experienced in the field of air/ground medical transport
research. At AMTC ‘08, we plan on having experienced
researcher volunteers mentor AMTC attendees that are
interested in conducting research in air/ground medical
transport.

If you are planning on being at AMTC this year in
Minnesota, have research experience, and would like to provide
a valuable service to our community then please consider
being a research mentor. Your time will greatly be
appreciated.

PublicRoutes.com Launches in Minneapolis/St. Paul

PublicRoutes.com, the first international directions-based Web resource for public transportation, has launched a resource for navigating public transportation throughout the Twin Cities, including: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, Washington and Wright counties.

PublicRoutes.com, allows users to easily navigate the Metropolitan Council's Metro Transit light rail and bus lines when traveling around town. The site also provides point-to-point directions for all modes of transportation in the area--including bussing, driving and walking.

In addition, the website offers a one-stop resource to search for, compare and book hotels, flights and vacation packages for those visiting Minneapolis as well as other trave add-ons including car services and tickets to events.

For the 2008 Air Medical Transport Conference a housing bureau through Meet Minneapolis convention visitors bureau will be used. Please be on the look out for information on the the AAMS website www.aams.org and in your preliminary brochure in late May, early June.
